Just went to the 'Tron: Legacy' official website via 'Disney', not that much on there but it offers a good little synopsis and information on all the cast. The website is very interactive and you seem to be able to create your own character which you control in the Tron universe but I didn't have much time to explore it further.

The 'gallery' under the 'media' section shows of some set design and costumes in a few alternative posters but nothing in detail, the trailer is good, however, under the 'videos' sub-section of  'media'. There's also a teaser for the film and a 'Visual Effects Test' video which I assumed would be an insight into how the visual effects of the film were created and tested. Unfortunately not but it did show off the rather impressive new look of the film, it remains faithful to the '80s film but it's updated and looks a lot smoother (I was, on the other hand, dissapointed to find out that the lightcycles can now turn in a much more graceful manner than the original, 90degree turning bikes, which takes away from the authenticity of the film as it is one of the iconic scenes of the original).

The most interesting part of the website was definately the 'chronology' section which links the 1982 film to the sequal being released in December this year. This section is layed out as a timeline starting before the first film but listing all the important dates up to, including and past the film up to present day. It is in this timeline that we learn a few key plot points e.g. 1983- Sam Flynn (the protaganist) is born.

The 'Codex' section is also brilliant if you are not familiar with the Tron universe as it gives in depth overviews from both movies of characters, vehicles, objects/weopens etc. but it also gives a summary of the concept behind the film and what the film is supposed to be portraying.

Overall it was a pretty good website but I think they've gone for style over substance, hopefully I'll be able to find a site with the information I'm looking for, i.e. concept art and original script ideas.
